Hey guys, miss me? ;) I wasn't expecting to completely ditch my blog and do things this summer, but I went got myself a life (along with a few new pairs of shoes). Who woulda thunk! Now that schools just around the corner, and i've got to start training myself to actually go to sleep at night, I figured I could probably manage my blog adequately. 

To your guys' delight, I will attempt to sum up my summer in as few photographs as possible (be prepared.) 

Hit play for the time of your life

Prom 2012, I will always remember trying to get kicked out for grinding.

 My amazing boyfriend took me to New York for my birthday, the next day we spent lazily on a beach only to drive home hours later, stopping at this amazing seafood restaurant.

 

On said beach (Long Beach, Long Island) I received a tan, that of which disappeared in a matter of days.

Camp Bisco XI. If you haven't been, go. If you go every year, keep going. This festival was one of the best experiences of my life. I recommend it to everyone, even those who don't like EDM or drugs. 

This was on site at Camp Bisco, a working ferris wheel that lit up along with the beats of all of your favorite EDM artists. ;) 

I could not have asked (BEGGED) two better people to join Aidan and I along with us.

Some random dude asked to take my photograph. So he took it and put it in a video online. Cant complain. 

One of the most magical places on Earth, Ardshona, an island owned by my boyfriends family (soon to be sold. :'( )

Shoal hopping, terrifying (for me) but amazing.

Getting to lay out topless on top of some dudes boat in the middle of lake Huron. Again, can't complain. My tan from this day also, disappeared in a matter of days.

I caught the biggest fish :) 

Finally, the last photograph i've taken this summer (I'm sure there will be plenty more). I made this myself. Started it in june, just finished it a week ago.

Hey guys! Happy mothers day to all you mothers, mothers of mothers, daughters of mothers who are mothers, and future mothers out there :)

Recently I have developed a strong addiction for a little website called pinterest. Heard of it? Its as addicting as everyone says it is. ANYWAYS. I was checking out the DIY boards the other day when a I stumbled across a "home made self tanner." I don't k ow about you guys, but that's right up my alley. For the longest time I begged my mother to let me get a tanning membership somewhere, but thank god I snapped out of it. Even though my family doesn't have cancer in it really anywhere, tanning beds are still scary things. Not only because they make people look way worse than their pale selves (take a walk through my Highschool hallway-you'll see it all) but because of the terrible terrible damage long term effects tanning beds can have on your skin. Thats plenty enough for me to disagree with them.


To make this home made self tanning lotion at home you need:
Cocoa powder
Vanilla, coconut, or unscented lotion
2 table spoons
A bowl

Put 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder in the bowl, then put 3 table spoons of said lotion in it too. You want one of those three scents otherwise it could come out smelling bad. Mix them together, add more lotion for a lighter tan, add more cocoa for a darker one.
VIOLA! That's all you need to do!

I am starting my college portfolio/WISE project early. (For those of you who don't know what wise is, basically it's a whole class of independent study) I am going to be making a huge photo book of all different types of people, fat, skinny, short, tall, black, white, and everything in between, dressed in outfits I have styled and put together at all sorts of stores, accessories and all. I am looking for said people to volunteer to be in my photo book. Your name, and what you are wearing will be on your photograph's.

Only having just recently discovered that I want to go to college for this, fashion, and making a statement has always played a major major part in my life, and I am positive this is the right career path for me.

Seriously guys, let me know if you want to help me out, it would mean the WORLD to me. I don't care who you are, how much you weigh, or how "attractive" you are. I need a very diverse selection of body types/ages. It's definitely a cool opportunity. :)

I don't know if I should kill myself or whaaaaa

I am currently attempting to stifle back tears. As you all should know by now, Skrillex is pretty much my favorite mammal on this planet besides my cat. His most recently released song "Make it Bun Dem" With Damian Marley is....dare I say it.....bad. Not only does he basically steal his beats from his own previous track, which is actually my favorite song produced by him, (see "Equinox" below) he doesn't even stick to the true reason he made it into the beautiful, sparkly, drug ridden world of EDM: HIS DUBSTEP. It's like after he won his awards (which he deserved one hundred and ten percent, might I add) he felt he could sit back, or in other words "sellout" and create boring shit like the person who signed him, ahem, deadmau5. Hey hey, I'm not saying deadmau5 is bad, but I'm also not saying I own many of his songs, let alone listen to the ones that I do...shit puts me right to sleep. It makes me so damn upset to go from listening to bangarang (which is NOT a very good dub track of his to begin with) on the radio, to this crapola.

He scolded me for not blogging in forever. So. Hi guys. I'm a busy busy bee. As most of you dancers may know, it's competition season. That means Dance> life.
Not to mention i've been doing a lot of laying outside in the sun, as well as hosting dances through a little group called Legend Events, heard of em? ;) They put together sick ass dances with sick ass DJ's around the area. It's a good fuckin time.

 Anywho, this morning, as I was putting in a pair of earrings, I noticed that they were too heavy for my bottom holes and they weighed my ears down and made the hole look stretched. SO, that sucks, and I realized, why don't I just put them in my second holes? I did it, and it covered my bottom piercings right up. For those of you who only have one piercing in your ears, bend them and then put them in. They'll stay up right!

On another note, this is the time of year-maybe a little early, but still seasonally the time of year where bitches be tryin to get their tan on. Being a pasty ghost like I am, laying out in the sun for a week will not give me a tan. Jergens Express tan lotion: my gift from god. So long as you cover yourself FROM HEAD TO TOE (DO NOT MISS A SPOT) it looks amazing. I am very satisfied with this product.
