It's truly amazing how a person can come into your life and affect you so deeply that you're defected for the rest of those that cross your path. Within the various conversations I have had throughout my weekend, especially today, I have learned a lot about myself. We live and we learn, time will heal all wounds. When you are hurt so bad that you feel as though you can never get on your own two feet again, prove yourself wrong and become a more confident, stronger you. Things always work out in the end. If you need to cry, cry. But don't lose your dignity because of that one person. This is part of life. Only thing left to do is grow from these experiences. I love all of you, stay wonderful.

No Makeup Monday

So, I lied, I actually wore a teeny bit. I simply put on a shimmery primer (used for shimmery eyeshadow), put on some mascara, and then a little bit of blush. This all gives a simple, "its monday and I'm tired, but I'm still putting in a little effort" look.
In other words, this makeup looks natural. My skin felt clear all day today. Going with minimal to no makeup at least once or twice a week (I usually choose the weekends) is really really good for your skin. God only knows what they put in makeup these days-you're practically just pasting chemicals all over your face every morning, after a while it tears your pores up, and then you  put more on to cover up. Its a vicious cycle.

Sometimes its really quite hard to read your own feelings. It's much easier to tuck them away into the forgotten folds of your brain until you feel as though you have no reason to be scared or ashamed or sad or angry; then they come out of you full force and push the people you were trying so hard to not feel afraid of, or angry with-away. Its as if, subconsciously, you're searching for reasons to make them leave you before you get yourself broken, and then they actually do. By then you're more broken than you were in the beginning.

i am angry, and i am sad and i am let down. The planets have not been aligned in my favor this year, especially this week. luckily the big twenty twelve is comin up, dare i say it. I had a nice chat with a friend of mine comparing days to vegetables. The best days are gifts, thats why every day cant be the best, otherwise they wouldn't be special. Im just telling you to cherish every beautiful day of your life, no matter how hard it is. My weekend was freaking amazing. I hope everyone else's was too. My girlfriend and I dressed up in country-themed dresses for the pumpkin farm yesterday. I use every excuse I get to wear my cowboy boots. They make me feel tough and powerful. Love em. I love each and every one of you.

A pretty top paired with high wasted shorts, black Patterned tights, and black booties makes for a girly get up with a pop of rock. :) as for the makeup, use a shimmery tan eyeshadow (or whatever your skin color may be) with black eyeliner (i use gel eyeliner) only on the top eyelid and on the very edge of the bottom. Add dark black mascara to your top and bottom lashes, and a light red lipstick.

I always use white eye shadow to make my blue eyes pop! With a little gray eyeliner on the top lid to define, I usually like to use a silver liner on my bottom lid as well. Apply mascara on top and bottom lashes, and a pink blush to make you look cute and flustered. :)

Just bought this stuff today called brazilian keratin therapy flat iron spray. OMG. It works wonders. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with any hair type. and it smells delicious too. Its ingredients are cocoa nut oil, keratin, avocado oil, and cocoa butter. All fabulous items for ones hair. My hair is so smooth now.
